NFL News for August 29, 2013

The Browns rookie linebacker Barkevious Mingo is unlikely to play in the week 1 regular season opener against the Dolphins on September 8th. He suffers from a bruised lung likely to have happened in the opening kick against the Lions.  It is likely that Mingo will return for week 2 against the Ravens. -ESPN Insider

RGIII of the Redskins will start the regular season opener on Sept. 9th against the Eagles.

49ers pick Nnamdi Asomugha as there No. 3 CB. Asomugha was released from the Eagles after 2 disappointing season.

Aaron Curry Retires!
Curry was the NO. 4 pick in 2009 draft selected by Seahawks. He was Seattle for 3 years. He announced his retirement on Wednesday via Twitter. Curry was released 4 days ago from the NYG and he spent 2 years with the Raiders. Curry's best season was 2010 with 73 tackles and 3.5 sacks.

NFL and former players come to a settlement agreement on concussion related lawsuits for $765 million.
